Tara Hoit, Vice President, Program Development. Tara comes to us with over 20 years of non-profit experience. She is a highly skilled leader in strategic planning, operations management, business development, staff engagement, and fundraising.
Melissa Pankas is the President and CFO of the Ohana Preservation Foundation. Melissa and her husband, Jim, are also the Owners of Ohana Equestrian Preserve. Melissa generously donates her time to the foundation and the use of the Ohana Equestrian Preserve property.
Melissa honors the legacy of John and Tess Jubinsky and thanks them for supporting the mission of the Ohana Preservation Foundation.
Luke Gibbons, Property Manager. Luke originally comes from southern California. He has had his hands in different trades such as doing professional hair styling and has also volunteered overseas for humanitarian work for several years. Luke joined the Ohana Equestrian Preserve team in 2017. He was drawn to Ohana EP because of the focus in helping preserve the land and in giving back to our local community. Luke now also assists the Ohana Preservation Foundation with equine care, programs and operations.
Kristin Stewart, Director of Programs. Kristin is a Virginia native and currently lives in Aldie with her husband and three children. Kristin spent many years in corporate HR and project management. She joined Ohana Equestrian Preserve in 2019 and continues as our Program Director. She is also part of the Ohana Preservation Foundation team, focusing on Programs and Operations.
