Become a part of our “Ohana” (family). We would not exist without the support from our sponsors, program partners, volunteers and donors.
Other ways to Give:
Host a Fundraiser for Ohana
Invite your friends over for a party with food and beverages and we’ll request the donations.
Host an online fundraiser through your favorite platform for your birthday or special occasion.
For more information on how to do this, contact us at ohanapreservationfoundation@gmail.com
Workplace Giving
Support Ohana Preservation Foundation through a Workplace Giving campaign — an easy and efficient way for employees to make a tax- deductible donation.
Ohana Preservation Foundation participates in employer-sponsored payroll deduction campaigns and can also help your business create a customized online donation page to support employee giving.
Ohana Preservation Foundation EIN# 83-4344151.
Sponsor an Event
We have several events throughout the year that require corporate sponsorships to thrive.
Aside from having your heart grow ten times its size, there are many benefits to sponsoring an event. Each event has sponsorship levels that match your budget and include promotional materials based on level.
Planned Giving
Will (Bequest)
Leave a gift for Ohana in your will and let us know!
Donate Through Your IRA
When contributing via your IRA, your gift will be put to use immediately, allowing you to see the difference your donation is making for children.
When you turn 72 you must take a required minimum distribution (RMD) from your IRA. A charitable gift is a great way to meet this requirement and support Ohana Preservation Foundation’s life changing work.
You can give up to $100,000 tax free from your IRA directly to a qualified charity like Ohana Preservation Foundation. The transfer generates neither taxable income nor a tax deduction, so you benefit even if you do not itemize your deductions.
Be sure to let us know you’ve made a donation, as the financial institution does not send donor information with the funds. We need to know who to thank!
How do I make a DAF Grant?
1. Request a grant distribution through your DAF sponsor.
2. Make sure you provide Ohana Preservation Foundation as the recipient Tax ID# 83-4344151.
3. Indicate whether your funds are unrestricted (Ohana Preservation Foundation can use for general purposes) or is for a specific program or purpose.
(A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a philanthropic giving vehicle that provides an immediate tax benefit to you and allows you to grant funds to charities of your choice like Ohana Preservation Foundation.)
Volunteer Your Time
Program, Event and Special Project Support
We host several programs and events throughout the year from individual and small groups to large family events. We are always working projects to improve Ohana Preservation Foundation offerings like building structures, planting trees and creating special spaces.
We are looking for hands-on help and those who are willing to support us behind the scenes with administrative tasks, such as social media promotion, fundraising and animal care.
There is no time or task commitment required to volunteer. Sign up here and we’ll reach out to plug you and your skills into our mission!
